Camera, subject and background is the important line up working in the studio. There is a flow of process that yields the right mix of depth of field, color and shape. Small adjustments in reflectors, mirrors and improvised tools add the lighting subtleties that make the products come to life. Line, shape, tone and surfaces all need to come together within a simple composition. I love all the pieces of the puzzle that need to blend. It’s all about detail, patience and the energy of the set.
